This is a collection of two different types of photographs. The first group are images where a pattern is so interesting that it is just about all one sees. The beauty of the pattern makes the awareness of the actual object superfluous. I find these organic and geometric patterns fascinating in nature as well as in the built environment. The second type of photograph is made by using the camera to create patterns from light and color so that the object is totally unrecognizable. Within these abstract images, one is only aware of the pattern, color and movement, and any feelings that they elicit.
