Like the Composite Art Photographs, these images are created by taking a small pie-shaped detail from nature or an abstract photograph and repeating it around a center point in a kaleidoscopic manner. This results in a circular mandala. I find the circular pattern very pleasing and calming. The River Rock Mandala (top center) is hanging on our living room wall - five feet square. I have yet to tire from looking at it and finding new shapes within it.
