Photographing birds is one of my greatest joys. Bird life is flowing and flying around us no matter where we are and often goes unnoticed. Opening up your eyes to the life of birds will open you up to an appreciating of all nature. The myriads of colors, shapes, sizes, songs and behaviors of birds is astounding, and once you start looking, it is hard to stop. These photographs represent some of my favorite encounters with birds in their natural settings.
