The details of nature are sometimes overlooked. Photography has helped me to notice the colors, textures and patterns around me in a new way. Focusing on the details can open up a whole new world of awareness. Macro photography brings these details even closer to the eye. These images represent my attempts to hone in on the small pieces or on the patterns created by a multiplicity of small pieces.
